Geocache Description:

Beautiful downtown Silverton...wheelchair and stroller friendly at the war memorial. This is a combination cache at the two places we most love to cache!

As you study the memorial to determine the final cache coords, keep in mind that all the names served and gave a part of themselves for our country, but some gave all!

On the original coords: N34 28.433 and W101 18.217 subtract off of 28 the number of benches honoring Mothers & Wives; subtract off of 18 the number of benches honoring Husbands & Fathers.

Next consider the Viet Nam wall of names: For the last three numbers on the Latitude, the number cooresponding to Jerry Beck in the first column, the number cooresponding to Ralph Hill in the second column, and the number cooresponding to Ollie Rowell in the third column. For the Longitude consider the placement of Carl Baird in column one, Rayford Harmon in column two, and John Perkins in column three.

The actual final stage is at a location we love finding caches....well beside ice cream shops of course! When and if you find the cache, look at your feet for the "UNKNOWN"!
