A nice little stroll along a green lane
Hardwick Wood is listed as an ancient wood and covers approximately 54 acres. It is managed by the Woodland Trust and there are many paths leading through the woods for walkers and dog walkers to enjoy. The site is listed as an area of special wildlife interest. The paths through the woods can get very muddy in wet weather.
The cache is on the edge of Hardwick wood a few feet off the path that leads around the wood. There is parking available at N50 22. 808 W004 04. 318 by the gate into the woodland.
