Geocache Description:

This cache will take you to the Remnants of the former Bethlehem Church in Trigg County, KY, now located in Land Between the Lakes.  The church's cemetery is just beyond the entrance of LBL Road 355 on LBL Road 174. A cache (Rebel in Bethlehem) exists at that location.

LBL Road 355 is not used much now, so drivers with low profile vehicles will need to park at the parking area for the cemetery.  It is a very short walk to the remnants of the church from the cemetery.  The church is the first stage which is at the initial set of coordinates (N 36° 41.890', W 087° 58.098).

The final cache is an ammo can located East on LBL Road 355 at a distance within 0.25 miles.  To find the final cache you will need to investigate the area where the remnants to the church are located.  Making note of a few things to get the coordinates.
The final cache's location is at the following coordinates:   N 36° 41.BCD', W 087° 57.BEF' where
A = The number of Western most supports laying on the ground in an East to West manner.
B = 3 times A.
C = The number of steps in the Southern most set of steps.  These have been turned upside down.
D = The number of Northern most supports that are laying on the ground in a North to South manner.
E = The number of steps in the Northern most set of steps.
F = A plus D
(Note:  a step is counted whenever the foot would have to be lifted to make it to another level.)
{Sumcheck: The sum of the three digits found in the North coordinate is 15 while the sum of those found in the West coordinate is 20.}

Below is a picture of the church when it was standing and one of the area now.

This is what Bethlehem Church and the area looked like in 1965.  You can imagine what it was like as you walk down the old road.

This is an upclose picture of the remnants of Bethlehem Church.  The area has become heavily overgrown.

I hope you enjoy finding the "Remnants of Bethlehem Church".
