The Manzanita forrest on Ponderosa Way.
This cache is located in mountains between Groveland and Coulterville. The roads leading to this cache are dirt, but seemed to be in good condition. The last mile, between the main road and the cache, got to be a bit rougher, but a 4x4 with good clearance should handle it with no problems.
If you have a 2 wheel drive you can take Merrell Road, which is all paved from Hwy 120 to the provided way point, and walk about 1 mile to the cache.
Once you reach the cache location it should be an easy find, not far off the dirt road. I placed this cache in a forest of giant Manzanita. When I say forest, I mean that these are some of the largest Manzanita bushes I have seen. You could almost call them trees!
