Geocache Description:

A small to medium size plastic container.

Cache is a short walk on a multipurpose "rails to trails" trail. Trail goes about 10 miles between Ripon and Berlin and cache can be approached from 2 different roads. Beautiful walk and view with ponds. This area is a BIRDING HOT SPOT! You often see ducks, egrets, herons and frequent shorebirds with plovers, sandpipers, phaleropes during migration. A rare sighting in summer 2014 was a group of White Faced Ibis. Cache has room for small trade items. Initial cache includes a cool FTF Celtic Knot Geocoin and small SWAG items. This geocache is located in the Glacial Habitat Restoration, which is managed by the Wisconsin DNR. The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to DNR Service Center 625 E County Rd, Y STE 700, Oshkosh, WI. 920-424-30050.
