A micro cache hidden in a beautiful park beside the St Lawrence River.
As I reflect on my days as a kid growing up in Brockville, some of my fondest memories were those of summers spent on the river. I would often get up at the crack of dawn and grab my fishing pole, bathing suit, a towel and some lunch, not being seen again until supper. My friend and I would fish, swim and in general act like a modern day Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer. The lions share of these days were spent at "The Sand Docks" as they were called then. It's a beautiful spot to enjoy the river, relax and enjoy life. There's a parking lot adjacent to the park and in nicer weather you can picnic, swim, sun bathe and dogs are welcome as long as owners "clean up" after them. You can witness the sail boats from the Yacht Club racing as well as the Poker Run boat races in the summer. This place is just a little piece of heaven on the St Lawrence.
The cache is a magnetic keyholder with a small log and a few extra baggies in case the primary rips, so bring your own writing tool please. There is no room for goodies, just your famous or perhaps infamous signature. As always be aware of muggles, especially in the summertime.
