Former Roadside Attraction Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

captnemo: Checking on my cache today and found the original container gone and a throw down placed.

As this was a special container and not a run of the mill film canister and I am unable to find a good safe place to hide a good container I am archiving this one.

Geocache Description:

Anybody know any more history here?

This place used to be Martha's dinner. Martha's used to have a full sized pool table and the best burger on the Mojave Road. Of course it was the only burger on the Mojave rd. Didn't matter because it was still a great little place to eat. There used to be a diner, an auto shop, and a pool here. That and the burned out rock house. It survived the freeway but didn't last long after Martha passed on. Vandels and scrapers cleaned the place out.
You are looking for a large Micro that is well camoed to blend in with everything. It's a little harder then the original so please replace it as you found it.
And for info, this cache was not placed as part of any 'series' or 'run'and does not support throw downs.

Congratulations to Team Christiansen on their first FTF! .

Caution!! As with any desert Cache, NEVER put your hands in or under any rocks or containers that you can't see fully. Always turn over rocks with a stick before picking them up. Things that like to bit and sting love to hide and wait just for you!
