Geocache Description:

this cache is a a fairly easy find, and a very short walk. Token inside is for FTF!

GGG Grandpa boyd joined the Union army when he was 16, went to war and lost an arm and an eye during his stay in the army. In his later yrs, he really enjoyed his drink, and used to make runs from his home in Paintsville to Cattlesburg to pick up drinks to take back home for his own stash or to sell. Sometime during his adult life, he acquired large portions of land in the paintsville area, and was know to trade parcels off for a drink. One time he was said to have traded almost 1000 acres for a raincoat and pair of rubber boots. In his later yrs, he swore off alcohol saying "It'll kill ya" and moved to the Ashland area where he spent the remainder of his days. Even with his faults, he was able to raise a large family and made sure they were all educated. He is buried here, so I thought this would be a good place to hide a "stash" in his honor.
