Yes, this is a traditional cache. It's an ammo can. If you go the most obvious terrestrial way, you will not find the cache. You'll need to use some unconventional thinking to find your way there.
This cache is not available at all times of the year. Right now (August/September) is a very good time to go.
You run the risk of several hazards trying to find this cache. Included, but not limited to hypothermia, disorientation, insanity and a countless number of "phobias". Do not do this cache alone!
I've never been quite sure about the meaning of "special equipment". You may or may not need it to find this cache...it depends on what you consider "special equipment". As far as I'm concerned, "special equipment" is not needed to find this cache. A boat or kayak would be extremely helpful, but not necessary. There are some other necessary items needed to find this cache that are often used while caching, but none of them would be considered special. Maybe unusual, not special. Ironically, a GPSr is not one of them.
Despite all the above babble, I think anyone who does this cache would agree with the 5/5 rating. And I think you will all agree this is a dynamite cache, if I say so myself

Do remember why you are doing this, to have fun of course. Please don't do anything stupid. If you try to approach from the east, that is stupid. Unless of course you are extremely skinny and Spider-Man.
