Watt Mast #9 (Middle Farm, Folkington) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

LostInTheWoods!: Gees!
This area has become as bad as some of the worst caches in the Hastings area.
I am therefore archiving it.

Many thanks to all those who have found the cache during its life.

Geocache Description:

Some antennas (aerials) and masts are hidden and some aren't. The mast 100 yards north of the cache certainly isn't!

This 600ml plastic box cache is located in a layby along the A27 about half a mile west of Middle Farm near Folkington.

With there being parking for 10+ cars at the above co-ordinates, and with a short off-road walk to the cache, this should be a good cache-and-dash for the locals and those just passing through.

If you are hungry, there is often a Burger Bar in this layby. Or, if you fancy something else, you could take a break at Middle Farm (half a mile to the east) where there is likely to be a much better selection food and drink, and they have toilets.

Please note that, although the cache is set back from the road, you do not need to climb any gates or fences in order to reach it.

For more details regarding mobile phone mast locations: search "SiteFinder".

If anybody would like to expand this Watt Mast? series, please do. I ask that you let me (LostInTheWoods!) know first so that I can keep track of the Watt Mast numbers, and names, so as to avoid duplication.

This also applies to the Hidden and Dangerous? series of disguised mobile phone antennas.
