Small container hidden at the top of Ryukoji, a short walk from the Enoshima Station on the Enoden line.
Another cache in the Enoden series- unique ways to enjoy the areas around Enoden stations without getting caught up in the crowds.
Although these stairs are not so steep, they seem to keep going on forever and ever. And each one of them takes you deeper into a mysterious forest. The temple itself is quite elaborate and a statue of the Tenrai sect founder himself looks over the entire scene.
Start climbing the stairs to the right of the honden (main building). Check out the 5-story pagoda, statues of two parishioners with prominent glasses, then a smaller temple, then the White Temple and a great view of the ocean. (less than 10-minute hike from main temple).
When you get to the top, stand with your back to the ocean and walk to the fence that runs to the right of the temple. 山の上まで歩いていて、海が見えてきたら、海を背中にして、右側のフェンスへ歩きます。
