This cache can be found at a natural marsh found along the eastern bank of the lower Namo River. The lower 600 m of this river was channelized for flood control purposes in the late 1970s by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
These wetlands are known as prime habitat for the pulattat or (common moorhen). You may get a chance to see one!
