This Geocache is located near Syphon Falls. There is a 20 minute (1 Way) hiking trail that is around 800m to the falls. The geocache is located on top of a rocky bluff that is often used for rock climbing to the right (North) of the falls.
Syphon Falls / Gayle Creek Loop is a nice trail system to the Northwest of Salmon Arm. There is a parking lot at N50 43.872 W119 21.259. You can access the trail up to the falls from there, as well as do the Gayle Creek Loop, if you are wanting a longer walk. Syphon Falls is about 20 minute walk up the trail. It starts fairly wide, but the last 150m get skinny and rocky. and you would not be able to take a stroller without carrying it. The area is a popular rock climbing spot. The Geocache is located on top of one of the climbing routes. You do not need to rock climb to reach it, as there is a trail continuing up the hill past the falls. This last bit is a lot steeper than the trail up to the falls though. Nice views await you when you reach the top of the ridge. Please rehid cache properly so it can last for many years to come.
