Bridge crossing one of the straighter portions of the Sandusky
River as it snakes through Liberty Township in Crawford County,
Ohio.
Crawford County contains the headwaters of the Sandusky, Huron,
Olentangy, and Scioto Rivers. Due to glacial activity about 18,000
years ago, Crawford County was scraped somewhat flat, lending
itself to large open grain fields and few hills. A unique glacial
feature that formed to the landscape in Crawford County leaves the
Sandusky River flowing north to Lake Erie and the Olentangy River
flowing south to the Ohio River. The city of Crestline was named
after the change in the flow or the crest. BYOP
Locust Grove Road is a good choice to take to or from my caches
located north of here.p>
