This cache was placed during a Pirates of Murray sponsored camping
trip in a spot that at one time or another through the years had
been visited separately by all of the Pirates.
One is looking for a Large .50 cal. Ammo Canister filled with
loot.
Directions:
1. From Highway 101 take FS Road #25 (Hamma Hamma Rec. Area), ~14
miles north of Hoodsport. Turn west on FS Road #25.
2. Travel ~6.5 miles to the junction of the FS Road. #2480 and turn
left on to #2480.
3. Pass the bridge over the Hamma Hamma River. Travel 0.3 miles to
FS Road #2421, Turn right
4. Follow FS Road #2421 road for 3.0 miles to a nice look out just
over midway up the Ridge.
NOTE: Road has a good elevation gain and is particularly rocky.
A 4x4 is recommended, but not required for the stout of
heart.
