Right near a Waterplaypark for kids and a small pond with bbq area
(no
fishing allowed) you´ll find this cache.
At the north-side of the "längenfeld-becken", there is a small
hill, called the "Winklenberg". This hill is merely the result of a
giant rock avalance, for 10.000 years. Not far from the little
village "Winklen", the private-owned "Winklerbergsee" (too cold for
a swimm) lies in a beatifull pine-wood. There is a large picnic
area with a water playpark, so bring plenty of time. It`s a secret
spot for hot days. You can reach it in different ways:
1. (Fastest way, 15 Minutes to the cache) Park your car at the foot
of the forestroad, leading to the winkelbergsee and walk up. You
can bring trolleys.
2. (Longest way, 2 hours to the cache). Start in Winklen and do the
"Geolehrpfad", This route is described here: virtual

3. (most interesting, 45 mins to the cache). Drive up over the
gravelroad to the Winkelberg and park your car at the now closed
bio-dump. Walk past the biodump into the woods and then steep up a
rocky walking trail. Follow the "Winkelbergsee" shields. Log also
the new caches : and on your way. This way you`ll do a nice
circular walk throught this area.
