Date Night Hike
Whittaker Creek Old Growth Ridge Trail.
Second in the series of caches that the Mrs. and I put out while
hiking on our weekly date night without the kids.
Came up here to get the "Log This" cache that has
been on my list for way too long. The trail head for these
caches is found in Whittaker Creek Campground. The sign says the
loop is 2.7 miles, but we did the loop and the trail down the
ridge on top and hiked a little over 3 1/2 miles. We had picnic
dinner near the cache on the benches and suggest you bring a
lunch/dinner as well.
You are looking for an ammo can on the North side of a log to the
left of the trail before you get too the benches.
