A fairly simple cache on the Boy Scout Timbercreek Camp grounds.
This is a special place for me. When I was about 11 I came here alone one dark, moonless night. I was afraid of the dark.... Or more so of what could be in it.... Something in me wanted to confront this fear. So I headed off into the darkness, found me a spot close to this cache and sat there for what seemed like hours. I became highly aware of everything around me. It was almost as if I could see in the dark. I was able to associate every movement, sound and smell with what I one could once only relate to the safe daylight hours. The fear left me and I remained for a little while longer enjoying the victory over the darkness! Thanks for visiting ~ I enjoyed sharing with you!
