Located above Diamond Notch Falls along the trail to the summit of West Kill Mountain.
You are looking for an ammo can near the first significant rock ledge along the trail to the West Kill Mountain summit. It is before the cave along Buck Ridge and is filled with goodies. After you have found the cache, continue on to the lookouts further along the trail. Great views and a nice place for lunch. The hike is significant, and will take a good portion of the day. But with two caches in the area (Diamond Notch Falls Cache is along the way) there is double the incentive. Both caches can be accessed in a variety of ways, so be sure to check your trail maps. There is another nearby cache in Becker Hollow for those ambitious enough to approach from that direction. But it will be a grueling all-day affair. Good luck, and keep on caching!
