Punt de sortida: St. Pau de Segúries. Seguiu sempre el traçat indicat de la via durant aprox. 4 Qm.(1 hora). Excepte el primer tram de suau pujada a partir del collet tot baixada!
Una vegada trobat el catxe, si no voleu remontar el camí fet, un cotxe us pot recollir al pk 77 de la C-153a (no hi ha zona d'aparcament).
Una antiga via romana uneix els municipis de Vall de Bianya (La Garrotxa) i Sant Pau de Segúries (El Ripollès). La via, que s’enfila per la serra del Capsacosta, era coneguda com a Via Annia i és un ramal de l’antiga Via Augusta, que fa 2000 anys unia Cadis amb Roma. El traçat de la via, de 8 quilòmetres, es troba en perfecte estat de conservació malgrat el pas del temps.
El camí, tot empedrat, ens transporta al passat i ens permet observar elements que es van utilitzar originàriament en la seva construcció a l’època romana, com ara desguassos d’aigua, la pedrera d’extracció per fer el camí, ponts, murs, guarda-rodes i cisternes d’aigua. (font: lamalla.cat)
La Via Romana del Capsacosta és un bé patrimonial declarat bé cultural d’interès nacional, zona arqueològica, i per això gaudeix d’una protecció especial. Respecteu-lo si us plau.

Starting point: St. Pau de Segúries. Always follow the indicated way during aprox. 4 Qm.(1 hour). Except the first stretch of soft rise, the rest of the path is downhill! Once found the cache, if you do not want to come back the same path, a car can pick you up in the pk 77 of the C-153a (there is not zone of parking).
An antique roman way joins the towns of Vall de Bianya (La Garrotxa) and Sant Pau de Segúries (The Ripollès). The way was known as Via Annia and is a branch of the antique August Way, which 2000 years ago joined Cadis to Rome. The outline of the way, of 8 kilometers, is in perfect state of conservation in spite of the step of the time.
The way transports us in the past and allows us to observe elements that were used originally in its construction in the roman period, like drains of water, the quarry of extraction to make the way, bridges, walls, guard-wheels and water tanks. (source: lamalla.cat)
