This is the first cache places in my hometown of Morrisvale. The
location is on the site of the old Morrisvale Grade School which
began operation around 1926 and closed in 1974. Although the school
is no longer standing, the foundations are still there.
The final two stages are in an area which is reputedly haunted
by a headless woman. According to the legend, a widow was working
at a sawmill in the nearby town of Breece in the early 1900s. She
tripped and hit her neck on the saw blade. She is now supposed to
live in the rocks across the road from my house. Although I have
not seen her, I know many sane people who say they have. So watch
for ghosts!
Please do not disturb the people in the white house nearby. They
are very nice, but elderly. There is nothing on that side of the
valley anyway.
The signal can be a problem with many trees, rocks, and water.
Hints have been given for each stage because of that. If you get to
the area, the hints are specific.
Be VERY carfeul if there has been rain! The area is damp and
quite slick in some places.
