Geocache Description:

Fair walk through the locks and along the canal. Mostly along paved walk way.

You can find parking there are two car parks one at the entrancs of foxton locks this is the long stay park and its £1.50 and up the car park closer to the locks is £2 for 4 hours.

No locks to pick no questions to solve. As with most of my caches its a simple trad that takes you hopefully to a place you havent been before where you can see intresting things/places.

Watch colourful narrowboats ascending the 'staircase' of ten locks, as their crews turn paddles and heave gates open to move their boats up the hill. Discover the wildlife in the side-ponds - ducks, herons, rare reeds and much more.

Then take a lovely strole along the canal :)

If you take children PLEASE keep and eye on them as the WATER is easy to fall into along the canal!
Might be some nettles around the cache.

The cords for this cache might be a bit iffy due to some tree cover on the side of the canal. I hope the clue along with the cords will help. At the time of placing this cache there were no long boats near by - If its busy that could be differant so please use stealth and place cache back nicely :)
