Yes just South of Sacramento along the Yolo County side of Sacramento River there is a little spot of water called Winchester Lake and it has been home to a 30+ year old association that has been the school for some of the areas best competition water ski athletes. The SWSC stands for the Sacramento Water Ski Club and it has been host to many competions of note, The Winchester Classic is an example of one such national competition and is hosted usually during the month of September at the club facility on the Lake.
