This cache is placed near Midway Amusements, a closed amusement center between Wendell and Zebulon. This large 7+ acre area has a swimming pool, batting cages, a big figure-8 go-kart track, a grill, and of course, an ARCADE- perhaps the only arcade in the entire region.
For whatever reason, it went out of business, and has been taken over by the bank, with tall weeds overtaking the lot. Its a real shame- similar arcades and amusements are now very far away.
The arcade building has been cleared out- there are no games there anymore. Another arcade bites the dust.
If anyone else can fill-in the story of this place, let me know, and I'll update this page.
NOTE: During the 2013 season, the pool is open, but none of the other buildings. USE STEALTH if it is open while you are here!
