En-route to Greendale Tarn, Wasdale, Cumbria
This is a fantastic walk alongside a waterfall laden beck up to Greendale Tarn. The views at all times are fantastic, with Wastwater and The Screes being the obvious attraction, but the valley down to the shoreline is also worth the effort alone.
The Tarn itself lies in the shadows of Buckbarrow, Middle Fell and Seatallan, all of which could be incorporated into the walk if a greater challenge is required. The easiest route is from Greendale itself which lies just off the shores of Wastwater, there is good parking at the start of the footpath.
Cache is a lock and lock tupperware container with the following contents to start;
Log, Pencil and Sharpener (please leave!)
China Geocoin
Waterpistol
Heart Stamp
Marbles
Medal
Pack of Felt Pens
Mini Jewel Pen
Squishy Critter
The Gift of Music
Thanks for visiting our cache!
