Geocache Description:

This cache is an ammo can placed in the Middle Grove State Forest, which is a great place to come year round with your dogs. During hunting season be very careful and Four-Wheelers are not allowed, but you may still come across some. This is a themed cache tail-oring to cachers with dogs, hence all the items in it are for your dog. Please try to stick to the theme, so there is always something for the next pup.

The resting place for this cache may result in a "wet dog" odor in your car on the way home, but who doesn't love a cache seek that has a real destination?

This cache is pretty easily accessible from several of the surrounding roads, because there is a pretty well kept network of trails in the state forest. However, you're supposed to be enjoying a nice walk with your best friend(s), so here are some coordinates to the parking area we use:
N 43 04.912
W 73 57.758
This parking is just on the side of the street at a trailhead, next to 293 Young Road.

We're starting this cache with a FTF prize for the lucky first dog (or owner), tennis balls, rawhide bones, collars, toys and a roll of bags to pickup after your dog if you forgot your own. Please take a bag, if needed, but leave the roll for the other dogs coming after you.

From our dogs to yours, have a great walk!
