Geocache Description:

About a 10 minute paddle from Myers Beach at the end of Flagstaff Road, Eustis. Terrain rated 5 only because you need a boat to get there.

This is part of my continuing Flagstaff Lake Cache Trail series. Here is a lovely sandy beach with a primitve camping area to the right, in the woods overlooking the lake and mountains. There is a makeshift picnic table with no benches, a couple of fire rings and signs that say "toilet" and take you to a box with a toilet seat, no enclosure around it. Spectacular views.

Yesterday there were moose tracks on the beach and signs of beaver. This area gets some use, especially summer weekends, but is much quieter than Myers Beach.

The cache is a 6"x6"x2" Lock and Lock box. FTF gets a FTF pin and a choice of either an unactivated 2007 Maine geocoin or my pathtag. There is also a log book, a couple of pencils, two nice keychains and a few other items in the cache. Small items only, please.
