First geocache for team KMJSOCKET. Updated 2013
In Akron there are 3 main locks, as well as several other sets of locks, which were used to lower or raise a boat. The major set of locks along the canal are the Cascade Locks. In Akron, the Ohio and Erie Canal runs along Main Street through the middle of downtown Akron, and is the home of Lock 3 Park.
The difficulty level of the cache changes year round, let’s just say its medium difficulty to find in the spring hard to find in the summer and an absolute breeze in the winter.
