This is on the NOW published, one of the best places to visit in Iowa; the Cherokee MHI walking trail....spend a day and take the 3.2 mile walk around...you'll find lots of caches...but more important you will enjoy the day...
You are looking for an ammo can, the location; once you get there is full of surprises....it would be great if you add to those surprises; once you are there, (you will know what I mean, at ground zero). Cherokee Mental Health grounds are protected by law from filming or taking photo's of possible patients in the area. Please don't let that worry you, if they are on the grounds they are well on their way to recovery....public is always welcome to the area...and in fact, it is heavily populated by locals walkers on the trail...so take care to watch out for muggles.....This is state land and I received permission from the administrator to place this cache.
