Geocache Description:

Located along the Western States Trail, below the American River confluence. The cache is just above the trail and you may have to scramble up the rock for the first ten feet or so. Could be a bit slick and it is somewhat steep thats why I gave it a 3.5 rating.

The cache is in a cammoed pretzel container, so it is not quite a regular size cache although I rated it as such.
This area along the trail was just begging for a cache. It really looks like a seen from an old western movie. I would venture to say like maybe from a train robbery. That is if the tracks were still here. The large rock outcropping with rocks that appear to be stacked on top of each other are waiting for the villan to dislodge them to stop the imaginary train from reaching its destination.
Yeah right!
