Geocaching is about the journey or the destination?
The final stage of this cache is NOT at the coordinates above, but is within 238,900 miles. Having purchased an acre of lunar property I decided to place a cache on the surface of the moon.
"There's nothing greater than caching in a crator..."
Upon landing on the moon the exact placement is at the following coordinates:
Area I-7 Quadrant India, Lot #773
Latitude 16 degrees - 20 degrees South
Longitude 0 degrees - 4 degrees West
(Located 20 squares south and 10 squares east of the extreme northwest corner of the recoqnized lunar chart. I have planted a flag to indicate which acre is mine.)
Like a 2-stage rocket I have made this into a 2-stage multi. I have provided the posted coordinates to get you where the launch pad can be found. You will need to BYOO. (Bring your own oxygen) and allow yourself 6 days travel time (3 days there and 3 days back).
I recommend leaving on a weekend then your boss won't know you're missing for a few days!
There really aren't that many places to hide a cache on the moon so finding it should be simple. But I increased the difficulty rating due to the travel time involved. The view upon arrival should make it all worthwhile. Time to blast-off!
