We have experienced this - you are geocaching in the woods and at
about 90 feet away from the zone, you say "I know where it must be"
This cache is like that - you'll know from a mile away exactly
where you are going. The only challenge is to make the not-so-short
trek from car to cache.
While you are in this park, be sure to check out the other great
caches near by - it truly is a wonderful area to explore.
Though it is NOT a requirement to claim
a find on this particular cache - if you thnk of it, try to point
out in your log, HOW FAR AWAY you were from the actual hide when
you said to yourself......, "That has to be where it
is!"
Access is best from Cemetery Lane - turn off RT 404 at mile 7.5
and proceed north onto Cemetery Lane to a well marked parking area
on the left (2/17/09 Note: Please do NOT park at the end of
Cemetery as was originally suggested in the listing, so that we
don't disturb the landowner).
Allow about two hours for this cache. Total distance can be as
much as 3 miles depending on the routes you pick (decisions,
decisions).
The cache is located near the flood plain for the Tuckahoe
Creek. Depending on the time of year and the amount of rain/snow
melt, you may find the entire area under water or at least VERY
mucky & muddy going. Note that there is seasonal deer hunting
in this area. Check online for season information and ALWAYS wear
some blaze orange to be safe. ADDITIONAL NOTE: I was in this park
in January and had squirrel hunters all around me like snipers - so
WEAR BLAZE ORANGE.

Please use care to close the container tightly, and re-hide in
the exact same place as found - the position of
the container is critical - since any alternate postion could
result in an eventual trip down stream again (see
below).
Enjoy a nice long hike in a beautiful area. The Cache is State
Park approved and placed with permission.
PLEASE NOTE WELL - The most extreme FTF
Honors go to metaphor who managed to snag the find - even though
the cache had washed down stream.
Kudos to metaphor for finding the container
(totally by random chance) more than 300 feet from the original
placement! - read the maintenance log below for the cool
details.
