***UPDATE***
Apologies to those who did not find it; it wasnt the best job, thats for sure.
I was about 10 years old when I learned about Geocaching, and, as was typical of me at that age, I wanted to get into it big time. At that time, there were only about 2 caches in the area, and as I was only about 10, I wasnt really able to drive to find to them. So, I decided to make my own. I grabbed an old margarine container, put some toys, a notepad, and a pencil in it, and decided that was good enough. As for the location, well, that was easy. My childhood fort was the perfect hiding spot. My sisters, friends and I used to play in that area all summer-cutting away brush to make tunnels, caves, and open areas. The whole area was much easier to access, with a path leading directly to the "shotgun" tree, which was the center of our little fort. It has fallen apart now, but back then the tree looked like a shotgun, and the stump laying on the ground a pistol, so thats what we called it. Of course, the challenge was to find the correct coordinates. We did not have a GPS, nor did I know anyone who had one that I could borrow. So, based on surrounding caches, I tried to estimate the approximate coordinates. That is why they were about 140m off.

Now, we havent been using for several years of course, so the area has become overgrown and covered. The tree has fallen apart, and from what I have read in the logs, there have been a few different containers over the years. I just checked it today, and there it is there, and in good condition-of course, not the one I placed years ago-that one is long gone. Thank you to whoever has replaced those containers over the years.

Good luck to anyone finding it in the future!
I cannot guarantee how long it will be there, the tree is becoming more and more decrepit, and it wouldnt take much of a storm to knock it over.
