Easy Historic Cache. This section of road is still paved. WATCH FOR SNAKES! Use courtesy if you pass through the Handcart Ranch to the west about 3/4 mile. There is a historic visitor center there also.
This is something which is getting harder and harder to find in Wyoming. They are getting distroyed and vandalized at an alarming rate by construction and treasure hunters. Since I found this one in the 1970s the original inscriptions have worn off. Read the plaque that was recently installed for a good little history lesson.
The cache started with a log, TB and a Where's George dollar.
