An easy three stage multi cache .Total walk is about a mile.Final
is a micro.Please bring your own pen.
Grab you binoculars and your camera and check out this beautiful
and educational walk along the saltmarsh in Guilford! This is a
well hiden gem of a nature preserve close to the highway and
downtown, yet you'll feel like you are far away from everything !
We made this cache a multi, so that you would HAVE to enjoy the
walk, but it is VERY easy ! There's absolutely no need to bushwhack
or to leave the trail. Ever. Please keep dogs at home and your
children on a leash (just kidding !).The Preserve is open from dusk
to dawn and parts of the trail goes along private properties, so
please respect the hours. To find it, drive along Clapboard Hill
Road to The Meadowlands. It says "private", but you really are
allowed to go there, because the preserve is open to the public.
There's a parking area and information board at the beginning of
the trail. We left a travel coin in the cache, but it is really too
big for the space, so we ask FTF to please take it along. There's
also a G.Washington gold dollar for the FTF.
