Geocache Description:

This is the Cemetery Ridge Cache
This Hike is very steep on the way to cache until you reach the Ridge top but WORTH the effort.

YOU MUST STAY ON TRAILS IN THIS PARK AS PER PARK RULES

It is located in Clear Creek Metro Park just south of Lancaster. You will want to park at the Creek Side Meadows Picnic/Parking area and take the Cemetery Ridge Trail to the cache.

Parking Coordinates
N 39° 35.336 W 082° 34.653

The Creekside Meadows trail will take you to the Cemetery Ridge Trail. You will want to go North from parking lot. Please always practice CITO in all Parks or Cache sites.

This Cache was placed not only for fun and swag but has a history lesson to it as well. Don’t worry no grading or testing will be done. The walk to the cache is all the way up to a ridge top that will lead to the cache. Again it is a bit of an uphill trek on the way in. When you reach the cache you will find something near that you don’t have the privilege of seeing often and maybe for some never. Anyway it is a very interesting area and we hope you enjoy it as much as we have. There is much more to see and many more trails to hike in the park as well. On your way into the park you will go by a large rock sitting beside the road (It has been called Leena, or Leaning rock) and sometimes will have sticks appearing to hold it up that people stop and leave.
