The Tattoine Incident: 4- Wormhole Traditional Cache

My continuing research into ‘The Tattoine Incident’ has led me to uncover a possible explanation for the specific use of The Device erected by The Dark Side in Tatton Estate in February 1953.  Using powers I have exercised under The Freedom of Information Act I have managed to obtain part of a document which references ‘The Tattoine Incident’ and which describes the discovery of a ‘ wormhole’ located at the site of this cache. 

The document is an extract from a report by an organisation known as the 'NPL-CPT' which I understand is the National Physical Laboratory - Clandestine Projects Team.  This summarises research undertaken on a large structure close to the village of Chelford during the summer of 1957, some 4 years after The Incident.  The implication I have gained from the document is that the structure is a huge wormhole generator and that The Device found in Tatton Estate was installed specifically to police the approach to this wormhole.  Mysteriously the structure at the site was rebuilt the year after the report was compiled leading me to believe that The Dark Side is in league with other Earthly organisations such as the NPL.

I am advised that this is the only page of the report which still remains, although I am doubtful of the veracity of this claim.  Nevertheless I have placed a copy of it in the cache, which is near the structure in question.  This will allow you to form your own conclusions.

For those of a scientific disposition I should explain that a wormhole is a topological feature of spacetime that is essentially a 'shortcut' through space and time . A wormhole has at least two mouths which are connected to a single throat or tube.  If the wormhole is traversable, like this example, matter can 'travel' from one mouth to the other by passing through the throat.  Wormholes were discovered by in 1921 by the German mathematician Hermann Weyl as a result of his analysis of mass in terms of electromagnetic field energy.   They are essentially a means of inter-galactic transport or even time travel.

The cache is at the intersection of a path and bridleway a few metres away from the structure itself.  You are best parking at the given coordinates and walking the rest of the way so as not to draw attention to yourself in what is another very dangerous area.  As with all Tattoine Incident caches please take extreme care as we are dealing with Forces beyond our imagination.

The main cache is 'The Tattoine Incident: 1'. This will take you on a 2 hour journey around the original landing site and describes the incident that occurred in Tatton Park in February 1953. A recent example of the activities of The Dark Side is visible at a related drive-by cache nearby called   'The Tattoine Incident: 2- Further Evidence' (now archived) where you once were able to inspect at first hand the first Earthly application of The Device.  If you still aren't convinced that there are things going on that we should be seriously bothered about, then visit   'The Tattoine Incident: 3- & What's Going On Here?!'.  Here you will see evidence of a large Earth monitoring system and an abundance of mutant creatures. 'The Tattoine Incident: 4- Wormhole' and 'The Tattoine Incident: 5- Wormhole Approach Beacon' will help explain why this part of the country is of such importance to The Dark Side.  I have adopted a cache at 'The Tattoine Incident: 6- The Bongs' where there appears to be a Dark Side training facility and finally there is a large object which will cause you extreme alarm clearly visible at 'The Tattoine Incident: 7- OMG! WMD?!'.

To complete your research there is 'The Tattoine Incident: 1- Wherigo'. This is an interactive geocache which has been developed using the Wherigo system. The tour will take you around the original 3 stage multi-cache and provides you with additional information about Tatton Park and The Incident. It culminates with an additional bonus cache which is logable.
