A New Leaf Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Cacher Checks Only: Actions beyond my control were taken by the library branch at the beginning of A New Leaf and have made the cache far more difficult to find (but not impossible). Archiving this to make room for a splendid cache at the final location.

Geocache Description:

This is a thought-provoking multi-stage cache located on private as well as public property. Check out some of my favorite places in the Pensacola area!

The hunt for this cache will require some thought, time, and a car. The information you are seeking is in the general area of the posted coordinates which were obtained by projection. Expect satellite reception to be an issue. This cache might cause some frustration, but pulling together your geocaching and intellectual resources should prove helpful.

How thoroughly you research this will determine how easily you find the coordinates to the next stage. Don't shelve it after only one attempt! Before resorting to the clues, search the description carefully for any references or key words that might be helpful.

Trouncing around in the bushes is not required at any of the sites, so please be respectful of all vegetation. Also, please refrain from posting logs or photos which will provide clues about this cache. Let's keep the level of difficulty the same for everyone!

The placement of this cache is long overdue, but the FTF prize is worth the wait. FTF stash contains Lewis & Clark Bicentennial goodies: educational CDs, BLM bandana, magnets, pin, leather bookmark with Clark's signature (reproduced from his carved name at Pompey's Pillar), 5 commemorative Jefferson nickels, "Discovering the Legacy of Lewis and Clark" brochure, and a poster-sized map of the Lewis and Clark route. There's cool stuff in the cache for other finders, too!

The idea for this cache was not borrowed from any other caches, but it was inspired by one I enjoyed finding elsewhere. It's cataloged as my favorite hide. I hope you will find it unique enough to bookmark as one of your favorite caches to find.

*** A special THANK YOU is extended to everyone who made this cache possible. ***
