Cacheme was an indian brave that lived on the prairie that is now la crosse he was fast,cunning and was a great hunter one night cachme was hunting bu the river where he saved a beautiful young indian girl from a wolf once their eyes met it was love at first sight but they could not be together because their two tribes were at war with each other so they met every night on the shore of the river .then one night cachmes brother followed him,after cachme and findme departed cachmes brother killed findme returning the next night to find his love dead he took his own life to be with his love forever
