Part 2 of the Harry Potter series
Visit all seven of the Harry Potter micros to build up the clues to find GC18GDF: Harry Potter and the Happily Ever After
The whole series will take you on a walk of about 5km. You will be mainly on good paths, but these can get muddy.
Tour the Forbidden Forest (well OK the lake side and a few scattered patches of trees) & find the 7 micro caches relating to each of the Harry Potter books. Answer the question inside each to find the co-ordinates for the final.
Each micro can be logged in its own right.
Caches in the series are
GC18GDG: Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone
GC18GDH: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
GC18GDJ: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
GC18GDK: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
GC18GDM: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
GC18GDN: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
GC18GDP: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
In order to answer the question in each cache we recommend taking a child with you!
Generally any over the age of about 6 will have attained mastermind level in Harry Potter Studies.
If no child is available and your Harry Potter knowledge is non existent have a read, or even print out and take with you, the book summaries on Wikipedia. You will then be able to answer all the questions.
The forbidden forest is a dangerous place, on your quest you may encounter all or some of the following: dementors, dragons, snakes, squirrels, fluffy bunny rabbits and mud.
You have undertaken a quest for the Happily Ever After at your own peril
Go prepared & don’t forget
Restorative potion – (a drink)
Marauders map (GPS)
Relevant herbology (sweets)
Magic wand (more sweets if you are taking the recommended child)
Quill and parchment for noting down coords.
Caching by broomstick however is strictly prohibited (See Groundspeak guidelines)
