Taylor Dam (Nelson/Marlborough) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Kiwi_Explorer: That's terribly sad news. We had a moratorium on TB's due to the previous disappearance. Sorry to the owners of those that have now lost them. It looks like someone doesn't like caches in this area. Not prepared to wait for strike 3 so this one is now archived.

Geocache Description:

Located at the Taylor Dam Reserve near Blenheim. Cache is a 200ml container with a log, pencil and a few swaps.

Built in 1965 to control flooding within Blenheim, the Taylor Dam Reserve has become a sanctuary for teal, black swan, pukeko and duck. This attractive setting is an excellent place to picnic, play or walk.

You will be able to park within 100m of the cache site. Trees at ground zero may impact the accuracy of the above co-ordinates but they should get you pretty close. If finding this one has you stumped then use the hint.

NOTE: Please return the cache and all other materials as you found them - thanks. Due to the original cache being muggled please DO NOT put any coins or TB's in here at the moment.
