Geocache Description:

Quick grab and go.

This gate used to be open all the time before a fire a couple of years ago destroyed all the natural plants. Now it is only open the first weekend of the month. It gives access to the western part of the park and the Alta Trail. The park folks are in the process of revegitating the area and will eventually keep it open after a few years of regrowth.
