Geocache Description:

An interesting rock formation on the Ballantine trail, at Boulder Flat.

I passed through this area last weekend, and this formation cried out to me to have it's own cache. I only had one container with me that day, and it's location had (more or less) been pre-determined.
I felt this spot was worthy of a return visit.

The usual wilderness caveats apply:
1. Bring plenty of water.
2. Wear sturdy, ankle-supporting footwear.
3. Tell someone where you will be going, and when you plan to return home. Then stick to the plan.
4. Beware prickly or poisonous plants.
5. Keep a sharp eye out for rattlesnakes, don't step or put your hands where you can't see. The use of a hiking stick is highly recommended.
6. Bring plenty of water.
