Geocache Description:

Ingleton Amble - Kissing gate cache

Ingleton is the land of caves and waterfalls

This cache is just outside a small village of Ingleton, deep in the heart of the yorkshire dales.

There are two ways to get to this cache.

1) Park in the waterfalls car park (charge for parking) and follow the track through glens and passed beautiful waterfalls,this walk is a 4.5 mile circular walk with nearly 1000 steps and takes about 2.5 hours or more if you like to linger.

Then you arrive at the cache!

2) Park in the heart of the village and follow the well worn path past the old quarry and lime kiln.

Then you arrive at the cache!

DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS CACHE IN VERY WET WEATHER OUR YOU MIGHT GET MORE THAN YOUR SPIRITS DAMPEND!!!

After you have found the cache you may want to follow the stream down and zig zag of to the left and then back right to take a look at a very small but well defined waterfall called catleap falls.
KEEP AN EYE ON SMALL GEOPEEPS AT THIS POINT THE BANKING IS VERY STEEP AND THERE IS A SMALL DROP NEAR THE FALL!!!!
