Geocaching challenges many of our fears, spiders, dark places, heights. Some of these fears are based on imagining what might happen others are due an horrific experience as a child like being chased by an emu while your mother laughs or being locked in a cupboard by your big brother.
This new series of caches is committed to the technique of flooding - where the person is immersed in the fear reflex until the fear itself fades away.
Please share your personal phobia with us and maybe we can create a cache for you. Think of it as group therapy.
*** Update April 2010 You now cannot drive straight to the cache but if you park at S36 24.645 E143 58.320 there is a creek crossing and its only a short walk in.
