Yellow ... stay on the YELLOW Trail[:D] Beautiful Boscawen Town Forest off of Queen St has caches on the road trail but this winding yellow trail to the right of parking is really good trekking. The trail is well marked and my cache isn't far off the trail. There are 2 caches preceding this cache which is .26 from the car. One of these days I'd like to see where this trail leads. I loved shuffling through the leaves today[8D] But ... I only had 28' accuracy. Possible hunting area.
I picked D for Dictionary. That's where we can pick our Vocabulary Virus Words. I have learned lots about words. Some are delightful and kind. Some are biting and cruel. Some are educational and helpful. Some are direct, some subtle. Some are positive and some are negative. Not all positives are good. I went to the doctor today and had a positive result to my blood test for lyme disease
Not all negatives are bad. I'll let you know if I get a negative result after I finish my doxycycline
Dictionaries give more than definitions. A dictionary is a reference book containing words usually alphabetically arranged along with information about their forms, pronunciations, functions, etymologies, meanings, and syntactical and idiomatic uses. Now those are BIG words
In the Proverbs we are told to choose our words carefully for we may have to eat them some day.
We are also told to make our words kind and seasoned with salt. I'm not sure what that means except that salt in olden days was part of the monetary system. Also, have you ever had fish or eggs without salt .... So I guess our words shouldn't be bland and meaningless ... rambling on and on .... I hope that's not what I am doing ... LOL
I put kindness coins in my cache so you can say a kind word to someone each day. I put pretty clothes pins to remind us that sometimes it is better to clip our words. Silence is sometimes golden
