This can be a difficult hide or an easy hide depending upon
which approach you take. The coordinates are very rough given the
dense tree cover in the area. The best approach is from the
auxiliary parking lot around the corner from the park that is
furthest from the coordinates. As you approach the cache area you
will see an open field to your right and while your GPS may try and
take you in that direction, don’t do it. A better approach would be
to take the stairs that will take you over the creek. During the
winter the creek can get pretty high as evidenced by the watermarks
left on the pine trees that grow nearby. The last several feet will
take you off the dirt path and over to two benches. Now which one
is it?
The basketball courts are heavily used, as is the playground
structure. There is even a small wading pool and sandy beach for
the kids.
Thanks to Will Ritson from Cumbria, England for this great cache
idea! Google Will to learn more about him.
Cache contains: a logbook, a geocoin for the FTF, several signature
items, a Woodstock TB, a 2000 Pac Bell Park inaugural stadium pin
(#1), and various miscellenous stuff.
**Congratulations to Kusanagi for the FTF!**
Sorry that you tore your shirt going over the gate and Caylie got
stuck trying to go inbetween the bars of the gate. Future finders
please adhere to designated park hours.
