A tradition of placing special caches to mark milestones within the geocaching community was introduced to the Chicago area by SpEd and Fallenfaery. We thought it was a nice idea.
baloo & bd introduced us to many clever hides with a scouting theme, it was also at an event hosted by baloo & bd that many of us got to gaze upon "The original can of beans" from the first-placed geocache. (And enjoy some tastee frozen yogurt.)
We hope that baloo & bd find much more than a logbook along the way and that many more fine finds are out there waiting for them to find.
