Noah's Ark Traditional Cache
Round Dancer: After some thought, I will archive this one. You have to walk through a new parking lot to reach the cache. This would make cachers look suspicious. The new parking area is hard to see from the museum. I don't want anyone to get in trouble.

Third in a series of Bible caches (Elijah’s Path, Moses In the Bulrushes).
God observed man’s evil behavior and decided to flood the earth and be done with these people. There was one “righteous man” so God told him to make an Ark and take his family and all the animals into it. Then the fountains of the deep broke loose and it rained for 40 days and nights killing all the bad people. God saved Noah from the waters and the Ark floated to safety.
About the area: MS Museum of Art and gardens, Capitol City Convention Center, Davis Planetarium.
My favorite oil painting is the landscape “Day on the Yazoo”, 1895, which features a cypress tree along the Yazoo River with a trumpet vine blooming. It's toward the back right corner. Right across from it is "Dog in the fog". Be sure to see the Pre-Columbian sculptor: pottery owl, hummingbirds and other animals from the Mochica and Nazca cultures of Peru (the Nazca lines), circa 300 A.D., suitable for the attention of Indy Jones! Also near the back are some Walter Anderson Horn Island watercolors of birds and animals. Oh, please do not wake the woman in bed near the entrance. She needs her sleep. The beautiful Choctaw stone you see all around came from the reservation in Oklahoma. Admission is free (except special exhibit in back left area). Closed Monday.
Enter a leg of the Planetrium for elevator or pick up a schedule of show times. Dinosaurs Alive! shows through April 2009 and is great! Even those who don't like dinosaurs like the show!
Note: The creek is fenced for your safety. Please do not cross fence.
