A woodland walk on rough paths, boots a must.
Start and park at N56 02.980 W004 22.380 There is room here for two or three cars, please do not block the gate. To access path, pass through gate on your right, not the gate into field, follow faint path through a narrow ribbon of trees keeping fence on your right after you turn right and uphill briefly. The path bears left at top of the slope, continue on and cross a couple of small streams, the path fades out from here on, start walking slightly left to clear a ditch and stay about 30 metres away from the fence on your right, eventually you will reach a swamp by fallen trees near the GZ, avoid it by going ahead into the Rhoddie tunnel which is left (North) of the fallen trees, there is a reasonable route, just take your time and look ahead, make your way through with a couple of twists and turns which are easy to follow, proper outdoor footwear is advisable in almost all but the dryest Summer conditions,
Great views of Conic Hill and Ben Ledi are possible in right weather conditions.
